In compliance with Medicare's high standards of safety and quality of care, the Cataract & Lasik Center of Utah became the first single specialty surgical center in Utah to achieve Medicare certification in January 1987. Utah gained a safe, cost-effective alternative to more expensive outpatient hospital care. The Cataract & Lasik Center of Utah combines the superior technology and lower infection rate of a single-specialty surgical facility with the personal atmosphere of a doctor's office.

Wavescan Analysis to detect and measure higher order visual aberrations, previously undetectable in eye examinations. Our center was the first in Utah to offer this advanced screening.
Intralase blade-free, all-laser flaps. The Cataract & Lasik Center of Utah introduced bladeless LASIK to Utah July 2003.
VISX Star S4 IR Excimer Laser. Our center was the first in Utah to introduce Iris Registration, which centers and aligns wavefront-guided LASIK treatments.
